Wall Vents — Installation & Replacement

Clean exhaust and fresh air, without leaks or rattles. We install and replace exterior wall vents/louvers for bath fans, dryers, kitchen hoods, make-up/fresh-air intakes, and utility rooms—sized, sealed, and flashed to keep water out and airflow up.

Installation process

3. Core drilling & sleeve — correct pitch outward, fire-stop or rated sleeve where required.
4. Set, flash, and seal — mount hood, integrate flashing, UV-rated sealants, interior trim ring.
5. Test & verify — airflow check, damper operation, weatherproofing review; photo documentation.

Special notes

• Dryers: smooth metal duct, minimal elbows, labeled length; no screens at the cap.
• Kitchen hoods: match CFM/duct size; add make-up air where code requires.
• Fresh air: use filtered hoods and screened inlets; position to avoid exhaust re-entrainment.
